FATHER CUTS DAUGHTER’S LEGS WITH A HOT KNIFE, THEN FLEES!

The father of 17 year-old Senami is on the run after allegedly cutting his daughter’s legs with a hot knife. The father, identified as Azama was said to have tortured the victim after she returned late from an errand he sent her.

According to reports, Senami returned earlier that day, but was sent out again to collect payment from some customers who had not paid for the Dokunu (a local dish) the teenager sold to them. According to Senami, she tried to explaining to her father who did not listen but tied her up instead and cut her leg with a hot knife.

Punch Metro reported that Senami who lives with her father and stepmother, Rukayat, was usually sent out in the evenings to hawk Dokunu. It was alos gathered that a 7-year old, Aliat Musa, who is a cousin to Rukayat, sustained injuries to the head during while being tortured by the couple.

The physical injuries sustained by the victim drew the attention of her teacher who reported the matter to the Social Welfare office in Badagry and the Ajeromi Police Station.
