Man, 42 rapes his own daughter, threatens to cut off her head

A 42-year-old architect, Sanni Idowu, was on Wednesday arraigned before an Ibadan High Court for allegedly raping his own daughter.

The prosecuting counsel, Mr. Tajudeen Abdul Ganiyu, told the court that the defendant was arraigned on a one-count charge of rape, adding that the defendant unlawfully had carnal knowledge of his unnamed daughter without her consent.

According to Ganiyu, the defendant had carnal knowledge of his daughter on several occasions at Amuloko area of Ibadan and threatened to cut-off her head if she tells anyone. He said that medical tests conducted showed that there was penetration.

Man defies wife's nieces, says its to 'appease the gods.'

                            

28-year-old Blessing Enoyoze has been arrested by the Edo State Police command for defiling two of his wife’s nieces to allegedly ‘appease angry gods’.

It was gathered that the accused reportedly committed that act after he claimed that a native doctor told him to sleep with two virgins to appease the gods in order for his ailing first son to get well.

The unidentified native doctor, The Nations reports, had reportedly told him that his son took ill because his wife slept with another man, adding that the wife who confessed to have committed adultery, offered to bring two of her nieces to her husband.
