The Saudi government is considering a new law that will impose the death penalty on gay people who publicly display their same sex preferences.

The Saudi government according to Lailai's blog, blames social media for the explosion of homosexuality and “sexual perversion” which is illegal in the Sunni Kingdom..

According to UK’s Express, Saudi lawmakers want to impose tougher punishments on homosexuals who display their affections on social media.

The existing punishments for being too openly gay are fines, jail term and public whippings.
