Three
suspected human traffickers have been arrested by the Lagos state Police
Command for attempting to take two stolen new-born babies out of the country.
It was
learnt that the babies still had their umbilical cords when the suspects,
identified as Hillary Wafo, 43, Kadijatu Dialo Diawara, 39 and Yakari Dialo
Diawara, 41 were arrested at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport Lagos.
Two of
the suspects, Kadijatu and Yakari said to be married to two brothers, were
travelling to Mali, when they were apprehended at the international wing of the
airport with two babies suspected to be from different mothers.
