the deceased, Mrs. Mary -James Ojobane

It would be recalled that one Mrs. Mary James Ojobane, was allegedly killed by an official of the Abuja Environmental Protection Board (AEPB) in an attempt to confiscate her goods (read the story here). The men from the AEBP were reported to have arrived the deceased residence and attempted arresting the woman's goats following complaints by a neighbour. while the late Mrs mary Ojobane was pleading with the AEBP officials, one of them forcefully pushed her and upon noticing that she laid motionless on the ground, they absconded.

However, this did not deter the AEBP from re-victimizing the family the deceased left behind as today, they were attacked by men from the same body. The family members of the deceased were again beaten and attacked. The protesting crowd which have gathered to intervene  where dispersed with tear gas. Phones and memory cards of some of the witnesses were ceased and destroyed by men of the AEPB.
