Following the inferno that razed a residence in Ebute-Meta area of Lagos state, one of the occupants - 32-year-old mother of two simply identified as Gbemisola has been detained at Denton Police station, Lagos state for allegedly reporting the death of her neighbour to the police.
Reports by residents of Tapa Community in Ebute-Meta area of the state where the victim resided, as explaining that trouble started when the apartment of her neighbour, one Timothy, was gutted by fire.
Gbemisola was said to have raised the alarm that attracted others who assisted in putting out the fire. A resident who pleaded anonymity said the arrest and detention of the woman came as a surprise to everybody in the community.
