It was earlier reported that there was a suicide bombing at an Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) camp in Borno State. However, Daily Post clarified the incidence via a correspondent that,
“The blast did not happen inside the main IDP camp as earlier reported but at a screening centre,” the source told our correspondent.
“There is small centre where IDPs are screened before they are taken to the main camp.
“It is more of a transit camp and located near a motor park along the Mafa-Maiduguri road.
“A female suicide bomber, a teenager, carried out the attack.

“She was among those brought from Dikwa after troops cleared the village of Boko Haram insurgents.
“Witnesses say the girl screamed as she detonated the bomb.
“Seven civilians died while two civilian JTF sustained injuries.”
It remains a mystery how the teenage IDP got and hid the bomb that blew her and others.
DAILY POST gathered that the military was studying the incident.
It is expected that security in and around IDP screening and main camps would be tightened to avoid access to dangerous materials and infiltration by terrorists.
