Residents
of Owode Ijako area in Ota, Ogun state were awakened by a deafening sound from
a tanker explosion this morning.
The
explosion occurred along Abeokuta Expressway when the tanker carrying diesel
exploded and caused serious fire incident around the area. Lives and properties
were lost causing both human and vehicular standstill in the area. Men of the
Nigerian Police are however on ground to control the situation.
